Dear Theatre Lover,

We hope you like the look of this exciting outdoor event we have planned for the August Bank Holiday Monday! There will be lots to watch, restaurants and shops to support and hopefully good weather to enjoy. If there are any local businesses interested in having a stall inside the theatre, or wanting to advertise in the souvenir brochure, please get in touch by replying to this email!

Sometimes Always Never is the film of the week. Starring Bill Nighy as Alan, a stylish tailor with moves as sharp as his suits, who has spent years searching tirelessly for his missing son Michael, who stormed out over a game of Scrabble. With a body to identify and his family torn apart, Alan must repair the relationship with his youngest son. Peter, and solve the mystery of an online player who he thinks could be Michael. The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw called the film 'a distinct, articulate pleasure'.

Measure for Measure from the Royal Shakespeare Company

Although Shakespeare wrote this play in the early 1600s, it remains astonishingly resonant today. When a young novice nun is compromised by a corrupt official, who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex, she has no idea where to turn for help. Artistic Director, Gregory Doran, directs this new production.
